Airbnb

If you are familiar with Airbnb, you know that it is typically an online method of booking a place to stay on vacation. Hosts of Airbnb housing are taking a hit economically during this time. However, Airbnb has turned their misfortune into a place for healthcare workers to “stay close to their patients and safely distanced from their own families.” When you book a frontline stay, Airbnb will waive all their fees up to the first 100K responders.

Boyce Thompson Arboretum

The Boyce Thompson Arboretum is thanking all medical professionals with FREE admission through Summer 2020. This beautiful place is located one hour east of Phoenix and offers three miles of garden paths and trails. There are over 2600 different plants featured from deserts around the world.

Choice Hotels

Choice Hotels is offering a “Choice Cares” special rate for nurses, doctors, paramedics, firefighters, food/agriculture workers, transit employees, and others outlined by CISA guidelines. Up to 9 nights can be booked with the special rate.

Karisma Hotels

Now through June 30, you can nominate a frontline hero (including healthcare workers, service workers, and those who work in restaurant, takeout, and delivery services) to receive a five-day luxury vacation at the Karisma resort of their choice in Latin America or the Caribbean when it’s safe to travel again. To nominate an essential worker, visit the contest page and share a short explanation of why this person deserves a vacation. (If you’re a frontline worker, you can even nominate yourself.)

Marriott Hotels

Marriott Hotels, is offering a special rate for COVID-19 First Responders from the medical, government, and relief communities. Designated for COVID-19 First Responders from the medical, government, and relief communities. The rate is available for arrival through June 30, 2020. Limited housekeeping services will apply to these rooms; rooms will be cleaned every seventh day. Identification to a First Responder organization is required upon check-in.

OYO Hotels

OYO Hotels and Homes is offering free hotel room stays in the U.S. to nurses, doctors, and other medical first responders fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic. Valid, active medical ID required. Call (+1) 628-213-7020 (code: OYO4FIRSTRESPONDERS) to get a reservation for your nearest OYO.

Red Roof Inn

Through December 31st, Red Roof Inn is donating a limited number of available rooms to first responders including nurses, doctors, firefighters, police, and emergency medical providers. All medical professionals, first responders and employees of essential services are eligible to receive a complimentary Future Cruise Certificate*, which can be used with one paying guest in the same stateroom.

First Descents

Healthcare Workers to Receive Free Outdoor Adventures From CO Nonprofit First Descents. The nationwide program, called HERO RECHARGE, is a series of free programming for workers who have been fighting against COVID-19. HERO RECHARGE will offer overnight programs, including rock climbing, rafting, yoga, and more.

Free Temporary Living RVs

RVs 4 MDs are connecting Frontline Healthcare Workers in need of an RV for temporary living and RV Owners willing to lend out an RV for free. Complete the steps in the 'About This Group' to be matched with an RV lender or healthcare worker.

Outdoorsy

For every booking made on the site, Outdoorsy is awarding healthcare heroes a free two-night, three-day trip around the country. The site, essentially Airbnb for RVs, travel trailers, and camper vans, will choose winners based on a public nomination system, allowing people to elevate and thank doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, care aides, and more. Roadtrips For The Rockstars

Van rental companies are banding together to offer free vacations to essential workers who are working through the coronavirus pandemic to keep others safe. The program, Roadtrips For The Rockstars, is accepting nominations for the free trips through the end of May. First responders, EMTs, nurses, doctors, anyone who is working on the frontlines, are eligible for a trip. Nominate a Rockstar here.
