AT&T has announced that it will be offering nurses and physicians 3 free months on their FirstNet Mobile – Responder plan. Nurses and physicians already on the FirstNet plan will automatically receive a 3-month service credit on a smartphone or tablet line of service. Starting April 13, new nurse and physician subscribers are eligible for 3 free months of service, plus a $200 activation credit when activating a new FirstNet Ready smartphone on a new FirstNet Mobile – Responder plan. FirstNet is the only nationwide high-speed broadband communications platform built specifically for America’s first responders.

Frontline healthcare workers can receive a free month of premium access to Care.com services to get help with caring for children, elderly parents, and pets. This includes unlimited messaging with caregivers.

3-D printer company Glowforge is making and offering free Ear Savers to frontline workers including nurses, doctors, retail workers, delivery workers, sanitation workers, and others who must wear a mask. This provider of healthcare workforce development and online learning is offering over 40 free courses to healthcare workers. If your employer users HealthStream, you can also log in and access many more free courses.
Intelycare
IntelyCare’s COVID-19 Nurse Training Certification covers the top safety practices for caring for patients with COVID-19 with their interactive nursing course. Upon completion, each person will receive one free contact hour, along with a personalized COVID-19 certification.
Johns Hopkins School of Nursing
The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing has developed a free COVID-19: Effective Nursing in Times of Crisis course, available to join now on leading social learning platform FutureLearn.com. The course begins on May 18.

Lennox International
Lennox International, manufacturer of premier heating and cooling systems, is inviting community members across the US and Canada to nominate deserving homeowners to receive new heating or cooling equipment free of charge. Lennox’ annual Feel The Love program, which has expanded this year to also bring hope and support to those on the coronavirus frontlines, is now accepting nominations at FeelTheLove.com through August 31th, 2020. You can nominate anyone regardless of their work, with deserving winners selected during the beginning of autumn. Nurse Next Door
Purchasing a new home? ALL healthcare professionals including, but not limited to, nurses, doctors, medical staff, support staff and ALL other healthcare employees are eligible for the Nurse Next Door Program. Grant amounts have been increased up to $6,000.00. You may also be eligible for additional down payment assistance for nurses and healthcare professionals.

PT for Heroes
Health-care professionals and their families can get free telehealth physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology services through PT for Heroes. If you’re not a medical worker but are a physical therapist or occupational therapist, you can volunteer your services by signing up on their Web site.
Publix
As of April 16 and until further notice, grocery store Publix has designated Thursday evenings, 8pm – 9pm, and Friday mornings, 7am – 8am, as special shopping hours for first responders and hospital staff. The Publix pharmacy will also be open during these hours.
Puracy
Puracy is working to secure supplies including soap, sanitizer, and other hygiene products for healthcare workers, hospital staff, nursing homes, and more. Fill out the donation form here to make a request for your medical facility.
Sam’s Club
Bulk goods clubhouse Sam’s Club has announced that starting on April 19, it will implement “Hero Hours” for healthcare workers and first responders, which will take place every Sunday from 8am-10am. No membership will be required for Hero Hours and Sam’s Club will provide masks to wear in-store. Please note that spouses and other family members or guests will not be allowed in the store for Hero Hours.
Sittercity

T-Mobile
T-Mobile is providing first responder agencies with the FREE nationwide 5G access they need, helping these frontline heroes at the most critical times. This plan will be available to public state and local agencies that manage Police & Sheriff, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services for cities, counties and states. UBreakIFix
Is your Google Pixel phone broken? Emergency responders or healthcare professionals with a Google Pixel smartphone will be able to present his or her ID badge at any of uBreakiFix’s US locations to receive one free repair, regardless of the device model or type of damage,” according to a uBreakiFix press release. This program will last through June 30.
USPS
Here’s the best way to check your mailbox without leaving the comfort of your couch. The United States Postal Service has long offered a free service that many still don’t know about. Customers can sign up for its Informed Delivery service at no cost. The program allows you to preview incoming mail, track packages, schedule a redelivery, leave delivery instructions and more. Registrants receive a daily digest in their inbox every morning of what’s expected in their mailbox on that day, as well as packages expected to arrive soon. It’s especially helpful, if you’re awaiting an important package or payment.
